NGUMBAN CLIFF LOOKOUT WA

Windy with nice view are the words to describe Ngumban Cliff. A road side Rest Area that soon filled up in the late afternoon despite the uncomfortable, blowy, conditions. One night was enough. It seems that since we crossed into WA the wind has not stopped, not gale force, just strong enough and biting to make things a tad unpleasant. The temperature is still OK, in the high 20 s most days as we are still at around 17 to 18 degrees south latitude, the nights are becoming chilly though, down to an average of about 11 c with a low of 8 c so far. Well it is mid June so I suppose I can't complain.
From here we will continue westward, we still have about 300 kms to go before we reach Broome and the west coast. Our pace needs to slow down a bit since we don't want to be too far south until at least early August, it will be too cold until then.
