It was necessary to delay the start of my first trip. The Van needed some unexpected repairs to the radiator, and it took a while to organise insurances and finalise some other stuff. So, I am definitely leaving on Sunday 10th February 2013 with first stop Port Macquarie for a few days. Because of the heat out west, the rain and floods and the fires (I can't remember when we had all three extremes at one time), I have an amended trip plan that includes a detour further up the coast to look around for a few days before heading west.
